K.B. CARLE earned her BA from Old Dominion University in Virginia, MA from West Chester University in Pennsylvania, and MFA from Spalding University’s Low-Residency program in Kentucky. Though she mostly writes speculative, jazz, and historical fiction, she is an avid reader of all genres. Her short fiction has appeared in Pennyshorts, Sick Lit. Magazine, 50-Word Stories, WomenArts Quarterly Journal,Fiction Southeast, The Offbeat, MAKE Literary Productions, FlashBack Fiction, The Molotov Cocktail, The Cabinet of Heed, and Pidgeonholes.
K.B. Carle also works as an editor, with a focus on short stories. Stories she has edited have appeared in The Eastern Iowa Review, Crack the Spine, The Exposition Review, The Kentucky Review, The Longleaf Review, and Ecco Books. During her time working with Drama Around the Globe, she edited several articles and interviews that have appeared on Phindie, DC Metro Theater Arts, and HowlRound. She currently works as the Social Media Coordinator for Pidgeonholes, an online literary magazine.
